Rayus Radiology needed to make some necessary upgrades to their Mequon MRI suite and needed a partner that could move fast. The project needed to account for no downtime and operate within a tight budget.
Thielen & Green provided architectural design services to document the requirements for the MRI replacement and set expectations for permitting and bidding. Interior design services were providing by Rayus Radiology, coordinated during the design development process. Scope of work included phased demolition drawings, architectural design documents, site diagrams for a mobile MRI trailer, and RF Shielding details to support the bid process. The interior design follows Rayus’ brand standards with updated finishes to match the existing clinic aesthetic. This project was delivered under a design build delivery with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering as deferred submittals by the general contractor. The project is set to start construction this spring with a summer 2026 completion date.
This project utilized full BIM modeling for early design review, project coordination and clash detection, with a goal to limit field changes and expedite construction timelines.
