Bloom & Smile Dental Care (formerly MA Dental) contracted Thielen & Green for the remodel of an existing 1,574 SF corporate office tenant space for a new dental practice located in Bloomington, MN.
Thielen & Green provided full scope architectural + interior design services from fit planning through construction administration under an integrated project delivery with Karkela Construction. Programming includes a new reception area with a custom desk for check-in and reappointments, seating, and feature walls with signage. The space also includes five treatment chairs, a business office, doctor’s office, sterilization center, imaging area, lab and break room.
The interior design features warm wood tones, clean lines and subtle textures that provide an inviting atmosphere. Simple patterns along with minimal accents make the space feel larger and more open while still providing privacy. The custom millwork throughout the space provides efficient storage solutions and makes use of every opportunity for storage.
This project completed construction in January 2026 utilizing full BIM modeling throughout the entire design and construction process.
