Windmill Wellness Ranch was looking to expand their outpatient services and needed a design partner to help scale development. The goal was to template a design that could be replicated nationally, yet offer flexibility that could be tailored to each site. The first few locations to expand their presence in Texas.
Thielen & Green provided full scope architectural and interior design services from fit planning through construction administration. Programming includes a new waiting room, formal reception, check-in desk, administration offices, vitals nook, group therapy room, employee break room, storage room, and twelve to fourteen clinical offices. The interior design carries Windmill’s rustic modern aesthetic forward, with familiar brand colors and warm tones. This project was delivered under a design-build delivery with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering as deferred submittals by the general contractor. Design was completed in just over two weeks, with interior design developing through permitting to expedite the project schedule.
This project utilized full BIM modeling for early design review, project coordination and clash detection, with a goal to limit field changes and expedite construction timelines.
