Zepole Supply Company was building momentum in the Minneapolis / St Paul market and looking to open a local office. The location needed to support both sales and design, but also include a large retail showroom to showcase their products first hand.
Thielen & Green provided full scope architectural design services from fit planning through construction administration. Programming includes a new entry lobby, reception, retail area for small wares, equipment showroom, utility room, riser room, break room, offices, restrooms, and mezzanine for additional support offices and collaboration space. The design is a modern array of cooler tone finishes, focusing on clean lines and access to natural light. This project was delivered under a design-build delivery with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering as deferred submittals by the general contractor. The project is currently under construction with a spring 2026 opening date.
This project utilized full BIM modeling for early design review, project coordination and clash detection, with a goal to limit field changes and expedite construction timelines.
