As Church of Hope continued to grow, it became clear the congregation needed a permanent place to call home. Given the opportunity to build on a beautiful, well-located piece of land, the church began the process in designing this new facility. Thielen & Green was engaged under an integrated project approach with Heritage Construction, to provide full scope architectural + interior design services from conceptual design and programming through construction administration.
The new 31,000-square-foot facility was designed for fellowship, hospitality, and community impact. From the beginning, the design focused on creating warm, inviting spaces with clean exterior forms, honest materials, a generous light-filled lobby at the heart where community can naturally form and where the church’s mission of hope is felt upon arrival. The building supports every facet of ministry life with a dedicated children’s wing, youth room, 500 seat sanctuary, and a full gymnasium for programs and outreach. The project schedule is set to start construction in 2026 with a 2027 completion date.
This project utilized full BIM modeling for early design review, project coordination and clash detection, with a goal to limit field changes and expedite construction timelines.
