Victoria Orthodontics is a start up orthodontic clinic founded by a local dentist in Victoria, Minnesota. The community was growing and in need of a local practice that could respond to demand, offer a higher standard of care, and meet the expectations of its community members.
Thielen & Green provided full scope architectural and interior design services from initial fit planning through construction administration. Programming includes a new vestibule with small waiting area, two station check-in + reappoint desk, five treatment chairs and closed consult room with full clinical support spaces. The interior design is a modern take on a Mediterranean aesthetic, with soft textures and warm undertones. Arches connect the design through various moments of change, flanked by decorative pendants and textured accents. This project was delivered under an integrated approach with Karkela Construction as the general contractor. MEP + fire protection engineering was design-build. Site selection was provided by RYZO Commercial Realty.
This project utilized full BIM modeling for early design review, project coordination and clash detection, with a goal to limit field changes and expedite construction timelines.
