In early 2026, Thielen & Green began work with a local developer to design a single-tenant medical office building to support an expanding community need. The goal was to provide a shell with enough design flexibility for various tenant build outs, by minimizing interior columns, x-bracing and barriers for fit planning.

Thielen & Green provided full scope architectural services from conceptual design through construction administration. Early concept documents were utilized to validate lot size and determine the project’s overall feasibility and scale. Programming includes a formal entrance, vacant shell space, sprinkler riser room, roof access and exterior trash enclosure. The shell design includes a modern mix of simple materials that flank large sections of full height glazing. Building form wraps void space, celebrating the transitions with moments of texture. This project was delivered under an integrated approach with Strack Construction as the general contractor. MEP + fire protection engineering was design-build with site selection by Strack Construction.

This project utilized full BIM modeling for early design review, project coordination and clash detection, with a goal to limit field changes and expedite construction timelines.
