Northwest Family Clinics was nearing the end of their lease terms and in the market to expand. Rather than developing new or relocating to another part of town, the building owner presented a build-to-suit option on the same site to keep impacts low. Thielen & Green provided full scope architectural services from initial fit planning through interior design and construction drawings. Programming includes a formal waiting and reception, 20 exam rooms, 2 procedure rooms, 2 nurse triage stations, vitals, lab, sterilization, med prep, storage, provider offices, x-ray suite, break room and various clinical support services. The design is a contemporary mix warm tones, natural textures and local materials, continuing the brand identity forward for a familiar aesthetic. This project is being delivered under an integrated approach with Greiner Construction as the general contractor, providing design-build MEP + fire protection services. The project schedule is positioned to break ground late spring of 2025, with the clinic build-out starting late 2025.
This project utilized full BIM modeling for early design review, project coordination and clash detection, with a goal to limit field changes and expedite construction timelines.
