PROJECT LEAD

JOB DESCRIPTION

The project lead is an integral part of the design process, tackling most aspects of the practice of architecture. As a central role between technical staff and the project manager, the position coordinates with outside consultants and receives guidance from leadership. From project intake through construction administration, a project lead assists to oversee the design and construction process of a project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Perform site assessments and field surveys
  • Ability to travel to local job sites as needed
  • Manage project deliverables and deadlines
  • Participate in design iterations
  • Consultant coordination
  • Assist with comprehensive code analysis
  • Prepare scaled drawings and construction documents
  • Participate in construction administration services including site meetings, RFIs, shop drawing review, and finish selections

REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional Degree, Bachelor’s in Architecture (Preferred)
  • 3-5 years’ experience ideal
  • Strong written, organization, and verbal skills
  • Detail oriented with an ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in Revit, Enscape and Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of Minnesota Building Code preferred
  • Knowledge of Revit families, BIM templates a plus
  • Some experience working in the field on a construction site preferred
