PROJECT LEAD
JOB DESCRIPTION
The project lead is an integral part of the design process, tackling most aspects of the practice of architecture. As a central role between technical staff and the project manager, the position coordinates with outside consultants and receives guidance from leadership. From project intake through construction administration, a project lead assists to oversee the design and construction process of a project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work full-time, 40 hours per week
- Perform site assessments and field surveys
- Ability to travel to local job sites as needed
- Manage project deliverables and deadlines
- Participate in design iterations
- Consultant coordination
- Assist with comprehensive code analysis
- Prepare scaled drawings and construction documents
- Participate in construction administration services including site meetings, RFIs, shop drawing review, and finish selections
REQUIREMENTS
- Professional Degree, Bachelor’s in Architecture (Preferred)
- 3-5 years’ experience ideal
- Strong written, organization, and verbal skills
- Detail oriented with an ability to multi-task
- Proficient in Revit, Enscape and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of Minnesota Building Code preferred
- Knowledge of Revit families, BIM templates a plus
- Some experience working in the field on a construction site preferred
